The era of refinement is coming! Generation of compensation codes for various common rail injectors

Compared with the traditional mechanical diesel engine, the electronic control diesel engine can accurately control the injection quantity and injection time according to the requirements of different operating points, so as to meet the requirements of diesel engine power, economy and emission regulations.


In the common rail system, the injection quantity depends on the common rail pressure and the power up time of the injector coil or piezoelectric crystal. If the machining accuracy of mass-produced injectors is consistent, the fuel injection quantity should be a fixed value in theory based on the same rail pressure and power on time. However, in the process of mass production, the machining accuracy cannot be completely consistent, and there are deviations in the injector itself, such as the injection diameter, the size of the measuring hole, the difference between the solenoid valves and other parameters. And after the use and maintenance of the injector, it is more or less different from the standard theoretical injector. If the difference of the injector is not corrected, the ECU can not achieve the effect of precise control of the injector. If the compensation code is not written, it is likely that the engine idles unsteadily, the engine shakes, the engine makes abnormal noise, the engine smokes, and the system light / fault light is always on.


Common correction codes of common rail injector

I. IQA correction code of Bosch 110 series fuel injection quantity

The function of IQA is to input the compensation code generated by the fuel quantity difference of five working conditions into ECU to correct the difference between different injectors in common rail system, so as to make the fuel quantity injection time map closer to the standard. The IQA compensation code is printed on the top of each injector as a 7-digit code.

The IQA code of Bosch contains the difference information of QS oil quantity increment and full load, discharge point, idle speed, pre injection and pre injection 2 (high-pressure pre injection). Compared with the compensation code of other manufacturers, the IQA code of Bosch is also relatively simple to generate. It only needs to get the corresponding compensation code according to the difference of oil quantity obtained under the normal measurement conditions through certain algorithm.

However, for the generation of the compensation code, it is necessary to ensure that the test accuracy of the test bench is close to the original equipment, otherwise the compensation code obtained through the inaccurate results will not only not correct the injector, but may cause greater difficulties in maintenance.

The newly developed common rail injector testing equipment of Wuxi Chengshunda (formerly Beijing Jingzheng Hongye) has reached the original factory test-bed standard from various details of the process. After a long time of verification, the generated IQA code is close to the original factory result.

II. Denso common rail injector QR correction code (QR: quick response high speed response)

Denso's common compensation codes are 16 bits, 24 bits, 30 bits and 32 bits according to different models, of which 30 bits are the most common. Denso QR code contains information such as electric assembly part number, accessory factory part number, production number, machine model, injection correction amount, injection response time correction amount, etc.

Compared with Bosch IQA compensation code, Denso QR code contains more refined injection correction quantity. After more than ten working conditions are corrected, the correction percentage is obtained, and the injection response time is matched. QR compensation code is obtained by certain algorithm.

In the generating condition of Denso QR code, the response time of the injector is particularly important. If the injection timing is not well matched, the engine will appear unstable idling, jitter and other phenomena.

The new common rail injector testing equipment newly developed by Wuxi Chengshunda (formerly Beijing Jingzheng Hongye) has the function of fuel injection response time testing. A single injector needs 15-40 minutes of testing to generate QR compensation code.

III. c2i, C3I compensation code of Delphi injector

Delphi common compensation code, such as 3301d has 16 bits, 5301d has 20 bits. According to the algorithm, it is divided into c2i and C3I. C3I is an improved algorithm for c2i after January 2015.

Delphi injector has been tested by 5 pressure tests respectively, all of which need to be tested at more than 150 different power up time test points.
